Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Large Pot
  • Tongs
  • Sharp Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • 6Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (8 oz each)
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Steak: Season the ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, and oregano. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  • Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3 minutes, scraping the pan to release any tasty bits. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring, for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Combine the Pasta and Steak: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy mixture. Add the sliced steak and stir everything together. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an even creamier sauce, you can add an extra splash of heavy cream or Parmesan cheese. If you prefer a little heat, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick. Make sure to slice the steak thinly against the grain for tender, juicy bites.
