Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz spaghetti or linguine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • Cook the shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
  • Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the lemon sauce. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  • Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

To make this dish even more vibrant, feel free to use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor. Adjust the seasoning to your preference, adding more lemon zest or juice for extra tanginess.
