Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb rib-eye steak (or any thinly sliced beef)
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
  • 1 pack slider buns (about 12 mini buns)
  • 8 oz provolone cheese (sliced or shredded)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the steak: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil or butter and sauté the onions until softened and caramelized, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the steak: Add the thinly sliced steak to the pan, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare the buns: Slice the slider buns in half, keeping the tops and bottoms together. Place the bottoms in a baking dish.
  • Assemble the sliders: Layer the steak and onion mixture onto the bottom buns, then top with a generous amount of provolone cheese. Place the top buns on and press them gently to seal.
  • Bake the sliders: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the sliders for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly golden brown.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, feel free to add sautéed bell peppers to the steak and onion mix. This simple addition will take your Philly cheesesteak sliders to the next level.
